Maple cream is a delicious spread that has many delightful uses. The most popular use is to be spread on toast or saltine crackers. Maple cream can also be used to liven up oatmeal as well as a spoonful for coffee to give the coffee a nice hint of maple.
Maple cream is made by boiling maple syrup down 20 degrees further than the boiling point of water, chilling the thickened product, and then whipping the product. It is then poured into containers and frozen. If warm, the syrup can separate from the cream but simply stirring both products will get the maple cream back to its original state.
Despite the name, there are no dairy products involved in maple cream. Maple cream is a pure maple product and contains no other ingredients than our maple syrup made on Sugar Haven Farms.
